Mount Pleasant Group of Cemeteries (MPGC) is pleased to announce that its new cremation equipment is running at the Mount Pleasant Cremation Centre. Complete with an emissions filtration system the new equipment will achieve the highest possible emissions standards while greatly reducing the use of fossil fuels.

Between October 2009 and February 2011, Mount Pleasant Group of Cemeteries (MPGC) and The Simple Alternative (TSA) were working with Trees Ontario to plant tomorrow's forests. As reported earlier, Trees Ontario partnered with the Ministry of Natural Resources to help deliver the Ontario Government's commitment to plant 50 million trees by 2020.
