If monuments could talk! A walk through Mount Pleasant Cemetery is a walk through the Who's Who of Toronto's past. From the early pioneers of Muddy York, to prime ministers and premiers, to the likes of Punch Imlach and Foster Hewitt, many of the individuals who helped make Toronto what it is today rest here. You can take a stroll through the cemetery and find their memorials and reflect on their contributions to this great city.
To make finding their gravesites a little easier we have created a history tour guide and map. Why not put on a pair of comfortable shoes, grab a snack and a bottle of water and make an afternoon out of it exploring the cemetery.
