Guided Walks

Throughout the year there are a number of guided tours, all of which are offered free at Mount Pleasant:

  • Mike Filey's Walks - The cemetery has enjoyed a long standing relationship with local historian Mike Filey who takes visitors on walks through Toronto's past as he points out the monuments of notable Torontonians and shares tid bits of their colourful history;

  • ROM History Walks - Similarly, each year the ROM conducts a couple of history walks through Mount Pleasant where they too point out some of the interesting tales of Toronto's days of old;

  • Mount Pleasant Arboretum Walks - Jack Radecki, our resident arborist, from time-to-time shares his vast knowledge of the Mount Pleasant arboretum with those who have a keen interest in trees and shrubs.

Keep your eye on the Special Events section and the calendar of events found there for listings of upcoming tours.
